In honor of the Darwin Bicentennial Celebration, I created this piece which took a more tongue-in-cheek approach to how Charles Darwin may have viewed the rise of superheroes. All elements were hand-drawn and then integrated using Photoshop. Selected for the Art & Evolution Exhibition as part of the Darwin Bicentennial Celebration: March 26 – April 23, 2009, Looking Glass Gallery, Boone, NC. Created using graphite/pen drawings and Adobe Photoshop.
